| Hey everyone, sorry it has taken us so long to post again but we have been very busy getting married and moving to a new house. For those of you who do not know, we have moved to Hermleigh, Texas where Grant is the Youth/Children's minister at Central Baptist Church. It is a very small town. A gas station, post office and school are the extent of the highlights. This town is 10 minutes south of Snyder, most people have heard of Synder. Anyways, we are enjoying it so far, the people are great and we are excited about our ministry with the students here. Please remember us in your prayers. | The clock is a tickin' The hour is closing in on the big day, and I am still not that nervous. I know i will be, it is must a matter of when. Kimberly and I have known that this day was coming for a long time now, so I really don't have to worry abotu second thoughts or escaping across the country like that one chick did a few years ago. I have waited and waited and waited to marry this woman, and I am finally about too!!! All the things that come with marriage, aren't too shaby either, ya know? The Lord truly has blessed our relationship and I truly feel that He has worked all of this stuff out in His time, and that it was the right choice to date like we did for three years, and then have a whole year of the engagement period. I feel like I am continually learning more and more about marriage and have been greatly educated on being a husband through the premarital counseling and advice of trusted elders. Thank you all for your support for Kimberly and I. And yes don't worry, as soon as we return from our exotic cruise, we will change the website and attempt to make it more cool and bearable for the single friends. | We are celebrating!!! Three weeks from tomorrow we will be on a cruise ship and the semester will be over!!! AND we will be MARRIED!!!!!  | | |
| Well, this is officially one of the greatest weekends ever. Sure, Kimberly and I are currently one month away from the wedding and another shower is planned for tomorrow, but let me be honest. The Playoffs are here!!! Not only do I get to watch my beloved Dallas Mavericks go for the NBA championship, but also Hockey is back this year. I am a big Dallas Stars fan as well, and their series begins tomorrow. If anybody else is excited then please feel free to join in this wonderful time of year by posting your thoughts. I understand that many of you that are reading this have no interest whatsoever in sports. All that I ask from you is that you refrain fro stealing my joy with some lame, critical comment on why I should be watching Stargate or Babylon 5 instead, you know who you are!!! This may sound crazy, but this intense style of sports when the games truly count for something really gets my blood a pumpin' Predictions: Mavs over Grizzlies in 5 games; Stars over Avs in 4.
